A to Z of IB Teaching Style

The primary objective of the International Baccalaureate education program is to develop students on the ideology of taking action, inquiry and reflection. IBDP is not an ordinary teaching curriculum but rather more than just a program. IB carries the aim of training students both academically and socially through unique ways of education and instruction.

IB teaching style is significantly distinctive from other levels of the educational program because IBDP enables learners to dig their talents and essences while learning and exploring.

How does the education style in IB work?

IBDP teaching methods not only coach students for academic skills but also challenge them to recognize their inner skills and sharpen them. IBDP has a belief that all students should be given equivalent opportunities to utilize their talents and have global community exposure.

The teaching methodology in International baccalaureate works on these approaches:

  • Building a global community of learners

  • Use of practical and advanced teaching techniques and methods

  • Declining personal and cultural differences by embracing new languages

  • Acquiring disciplinary and interdisciplinary learning strategies fulfilling international standards.
