How about refining your Extended Essay Draft

Congratulations on finishing a full draft of your Extended Essay! But the good times don't stop there. If you want to get an A in your EE, the most critical stage is still ahead of you. It is critical to edit and refine your Extended Essay draught. So this week's blog will assist you in doing just that!

Remember it is not finalized yet

It’s vital to realize that once you’ve completed your EE draft, this isn’t the finished product. When it turns out that you need to spend more time changing, improving, and refining your essay, try not to get discouraged or frustrated. Just keep in mind that all of your editing will pay off in the end!

Take a pen to your Extended Essay and make notes on it as if you were me.

Be a critique of your own Draft

Look for problems in grammar and spelling. -Remove any unnecessary text. Could you express yourself in fewer words? Yes. This is always the case when it comes to your writing. Start by removing the majority of your introduction. Then look for instances where you speak something you've already said. - Look for instances where you used sources but didn't cite them (even if it wasn't for a quote). - You understand what I'm saying. Make a mark like your teacher would.

You are accountable for your Work

Don't expect your teacher to take care of things for you. In this case, it certainly isn't. We can't offer you specific guidance. Just some general thoughts. Even if you have a teacher that will provide you with a lot of criticism, you are wasting their and your time. It's much preferable to submit a well-written, edited piece of work so that your teacher can concentrate on helping you with the smart (rather than the dumb) errors you've made.

Take your Supervisor’s Remarks seriously

However, one draft of your Extended Essay may be shown to your supervisor. Make sure the document you give your supervisor is as thorough as feasible. This means they'll be able to provide you with the most accurate criticism of your ideas, arguments, and overall organization. Take the time to read over all of your Supervisor's remarks and think about them. This will be really useful information for taking your Extended Essay to the next level!

Examine two extended essays that are superior to yours. Extended Essays (from previous years) are an excellent source of information. Do they connect together the mini-conclusions they've formed throughout the essay in their conclusion?

And there you have it, guy. You're finished.
