IBDP : Mathematics Analysis and Approaches

For the IB Diploma Program students are required to study one mathematics course from the two subjects offered;

  • Mathematics: Analysis and Approach
  • Mathematics: Application and Interpretation

Both of the courses are intended to meet the demands and abilities of the students that can help them in their problem-solving skills. Students can pursue these two courses at both Standard Level and High Level.

Aims and Objectives of the course 

The aims and objectives of Mathematics AA are as follows:

  • Course offered at both HL and SL levels.
  • 150 hours for SL and 240 for HL.
  • Both internal and external mode of assessment is used.
