International Baccalaureate Diploma Program

IB (International Baccalaureate) is a learning program used globally focused on an object to help students to receive an education that is suitable to match in a globalizing world and has an international scope.

The IB program is most noted for its two-year Diploma Program (DP), among the students at the international level to promote pupils' academic, emotional, personal, and social well-being.

Diploma Program Curriculum

The Diploma Program (DP) curriculum is split into six subject groups and the DP core, which covers the theory of knowledge (TOK), creativity, activity, service (CAS), and the extended essay.

To earn an IB diploma program a student has to take both the core portion and courses from the six subject groups.

The core covers three elements:

  • Theory of Knowledge (TAK)
  • An Extended Essay 
  • A Creativity, Action, Service CAS project

The Six Subject groups include these parts:

  • Study of Literature and language 
  • Study of Sciences
  • Study of Mathematics (AA & AI)
  • Study of Arts
  • Study of Individuals and Societies
  • Language Acquisition

IB Mode of Assessment

The IB program evaluates student’s abilities and skills in two ways:

  • Internal Assessment
  • External Assessment
